Today we've finished first stage of migration to the new server. All moto-notes applications (notebook, board, guide) are now migrated.

Because of migration some inconveniences might have occured for some users (those active during migration), but we hope that migration process was almost invisible

New option has been added to Notebook.

You may now see nice graphs and average amounts of money you spend on fuel or servicing of your vehicle.

See red 'Statistics' link in the left menu, while you're in context of your vehicle.

Don't be scared when you'll see how much you spend on the fuel novadays...

Recently, one of moto-notes apps: Guide (http://guide.moto-notes.com) has been updated.

Changes:
- you're now able to select zoom level (used when displaying map) while saving
- you're now able to use mouse wheel to zoom in and zoom out
- zoom control has been changed from small to large one
- while saving you can enter your e-mail address and have links to view and edit map emailed to your account

New feature: consumption format is available at Edit vehicle page.
You are able to choose between liters per 100 km and miles per gallon.

This option affects Consumption shown in system and at signatures for forums.



Depending on choices of mileage unit and volume unit (marked at the picture above) consumption format may use the following conversion rates: 1 mile = 1,60 km and 1 gallon = 3.78 l.

Conversions are used only to display fuel consumption in specified format. No data in notes is changed.

Tonight, 'advanced' algorithm that calculates fuel consumption has been updated. Because of that values of consumption for all vehicles are now recalculated and more precise.

If someone found today that fuel consumption of his vehicle has suddenly changed then we admit that we did this

Small update of Notebook has been applied today.

Now, at search form in analysis panel you may easily select tags from tag cloud. Also, displaying tags at note forms has been fixed.

At 1 and 2 June moto-notes.com and it's companions were offline for some time. Some reminders from Notebook were not sent!

This was caused by a disaster at data center where moto-notes.com site is hosted. We were not able to do anything with that. You may find more details about fire and explosion at The Planet under this link: http://forums.theplanet.com/index.php?showtopic=90185

Currently mail server used by moto-notes.com is still down so notification/registration/reminder e-mails are not being sent. They'll be possibly sent with delay when mail server is online again.

We are sorry for the problems and we hope that all functionality will be back soon.
